BIOGRAPHY:
Sean Peel is currently working within the Medical Applications Group (MAG) on the ‘Patient Specific Medical Design’ Knowledge Transfer Centre.  The project applies product development technologies and techniques to help companies and NHS specialists introduce services and products tailored to individual patient needs.

Sean also works on MAG’s medical modelling service to manipulate CT and MRI scan data for the production of physical models of patient anatomy used in surgical planning.  This includes utilising FreeForm CAD software to fill anatomical defects (assisting in implant design) and sculpting mirrored healthy anatomy for accurate contra-lateral models.  

Sean graduated from Loughborough University in 2010 with a first class honours degree in Industrial Design and Technology.  This included a Diploma In Professional Studies gained through a year spent working as a design engineer in the product development department of Bristan Group Ltd.
