BIOGRAPHY:
An experienced product design engineer with proven success in taking new product developments from drawing board through to product launch, Julie has excellent communication skills capable of translating client needs successfully into manufactured products.

Following an exciting design career in the medical, rehabilitation and disability industry. Julie has an in-depth knowledge into regulatory requirements, sterilisation and packaging techniques of medical products, product design and development.

Having gained strong practical experience in both design engineering and project management, Julie's role within PDR is that of Commercial Manager. Her priority is to assist manufacturing companies in realising their full innovative potential via commercial routes or government funded initiatives.
Responsible for leading the strategic development of PDR's knowledge transfer portfolio; typical activities include; client liaison, business development, proposal generation, identification, acquisition and delivery of knowledge transfer programmes.
Julie holds a BA in Industrial Design and MSc in Product Development Management; Dissertation Title: "Comparison of new product development strategies in a small to medium-sized enterprise".
