BIOGRAPHY:
Andrew is a senior researcher at the National Centre for Product Design and Development Research (PDR) at UWIC. His research centres on the application of product development processes and technologies, especially in SMEs. His current research focus is on the development of methods for the application of user-centric design, especially in terms of improving accessibility to user-led design and development principles. Over the past ten years he has worked with many SMEs and large companies on the development of improved design practice, both on research and consultancy projects. Andrew has 20+ academic publications, holds a BA in Industrial Design and a PhD on “The Impact of Advanced Manufacturing Technology on Small Welsh Companies”.
