PDR has doubled its Additive Layer Prototyping facility by purchasing 2 ProJet™ 3000Plus 3D Printers. PDR are now able to offer clients RP at resolutions of 16? layers allowing for an unprecedented level of modelling accuracy.

Using this technology for the creation of high definition master components this new technology also provides an additional quality boost to PDR’s Polyurethane and Nylon vac-casting facilities as well as complimenting its metal casting workshop.

PDR’s Medical Applications Group (MAG) and the centre’s Patient Specific Medical Design Group (PSMD) will also be accessing this technology as a new means to services the medical industry.
