PDR will be hosting the third Digital Design in Facial Prosthetics course on the 23rd-24th May, 2012. The course will be facilitated by The Centre for Applied Reconstructive Technologies in Surgery (CARTIS). CARTIS is a long standing collaboration established by Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board's Maxillofacial Unit at Morriston Hospital and PDR.

The course is intended for clinical and technical practitioners involved in facial prosthetic rehabilitation. The programme will combine 'hands-on' tuition with comprehensive lectures and demonstrations from an experienced faculty, providing the participant with the confidence to move their traditional practice in a digital direction.

The course will be held in partnership with iRSM in Canada and the University of Illnois at Chicago.
