Improving Patient Healthcare Over the last 12 years we have worked closely with healthcare professionals to advance design and manufacturing technologies for use in general or patient-specific applications. Patient Specific Applications Our patient-specific design centre aligns the needs of clinicians, patients and health services with those of companies in order to develop new services and devices. We help companies and NHS specialists collaborate to develop competitive advantage through the introduction of services and products which are tailored to individual patient needs. PDR combines extensive product design and development expertise with the ability to process and manipulate medical scan data and manufacture bespoke devices in-house. Combined with comprehensive process management knowledge and strong reciprocal links with healthcare specialists, we are focussed on helping businesses and the healthcare sector meet modern healthcare needs. Morriston Hospital Collaboration For 12 years PDR has collaborated with the Maxillofacial Unit at Morriston Hospital, exploring novel and innovative ways to use product design technologies in medicine, reconstructive surgery and prosthetics.
